David Medalla's Compost Project for London Biennale 2004

For some time now I have been thinking of an original and relatively inexpensive way of documenting all the artists who have participated or will
participate in the London Biennale.A catalogue including everybody is out of the question for the time being, as it will be expensive and we have no funds.
The idea of a poster featuring four artists at a time then occured to
me as suitable: for it will commemorate the fact that this year is the fourth year of the new millenium (the London Biennale started in the year 2000), and a poster will be inexpensive. One can simply make a photocopy.
Here are the essential things to print on the poster:London Biennale 2004
The name of the venue where the four artists in the poster are standing.
The four artists must be shown standing, preferably facing the person who will be looking at the poster, and carrying a card with a relevant inscription. The printed names of the four individual artists.
Their signatures beneath their names,
Other information such as tube stops and bus routes, address of venue
(in case the poster is about an event or an exhibition), telephone numbers,
etc. can also be included in the poster, including our website address:
www.londonbiennale.org

It is also important that a London Biennale artist who agrees to participate in a ComPost should appear only once in a ComPost. (All LBAs, of course, are free to make individual posters, as many as they like, but these other posters must not be comfused with the ComPost which is entirely my art project).
