Helpline staffed by HIV positive women, 10 am - 1pm, 2pm - 4 pm, Monday to Friday. A helpline for women and families affected by HIV.


PositiveLine: 0800 169 6806

Monday to Friday, 11am to 10pm; Saturday and Sunday, 4 pm to 10 pm. The helpline offers counselling and support to anyone who has recently been diagnosed HIV positive.

Monday to Friday 8am to 6pm. ACAS has a new single national helpline number to answer all your employment questions in one confidential phone call.

9am - 5.30pm every day.
Established by the government, the Community Legal Service is designed to help people find free, local legal advice.

Helpline open 8am-8pm Monday -Friday. An independent body that works to secure the civil rights of people with disabilities. The Disability Rights Commission (DRC) is the enforcement and monitoring body for disability discrimination law in the UK.


Africa Advocacy Foundation: 020 7738 7238

The helpline provides support for anyone of African origin living in the UK who is either HIV positive or of unknown status. Advocacy and Information are also offered on Prevention, Treatment, Care, Immigration, Benefits and general welfare.


National African AIDS Helpline: 0800 0967 500

Open Mon-Fri, 10am - 6pm.
All calls are free and confidential and are available in English, French, Shona, Swahili and Luganda.


CWAC (Children With AIDS Charity): 020 7247 9115

Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm.
One of the main organisations providing services specifically for the growing number of children in the UK living with HIV/AIDS. They can provide information and advice about children and HIV/AIDS in the UK.


Jewish AIDS Trust: 020 8952 5253

Monday to Friday, 10 am - 5 pm. Offering an HIV/AIDS information service to the Jewish community, as well as education, counselling and support in connection with HIV/AIDS.

Help and information on HIV/AIDS for South Asian, Middle Eastern, North African, Horn of African and Latin American communities, as well as Portuguese speaking communities. As well as employment advice and support services.

Providing accurate, relevant and up to date information concerning HIV/AIDS to all those who need it, enabling people to make informed choices, and enhancing public understanding and awareness.
