Sensei Awarded Title

Sensei John Euden (5th Dan), having continually demonstrated excellent loyalty and technical ability along with excellent coaching skills and promoting the TSKA at all levels, has been promoted to the position of Traditional Shotokan Karate Association Assistant Chief Instructor.

New Dan Grades

Congratulations to Erin Lee and Reece Thompset who recently attained their Black Belts (1st Dan) on the 18th May at the TSKA Residential course in Devon.

No Licence, No Lesson

Santa visits Tiger cubs

On Monday 15th December, Santa made a surprise visit to the Tiger Cubs at the Hereson School dojo. He asked the children if they had been good, and surprisingly they all said yes!


Sensei 5th Dan Award

On Thursday 6th December 2008 Sensei John Euden, after over 25 years of dedication to shotokan was awarded his Godan (5th Dan) by Sensei Peter Manning, Sensei Manning made a surprise visit to the club and took over the training session for the evening. This left Sensei Euden puzzled why, but all was to become clear at the end when Sensei Manning presented Sensei Euden with his Godan (5th Dan) certificate, endorsed by NAKMAS.

A big Thank you to the Rotary Club Of Ramsgate

Our very own Big Baz (Barry Tullet) held a presentation to the Rotary Club of Ramsgate on Tuesday. The presentation lasted about 25 minutes and covered most aspects of Traditional Shotokan and what our club is all about. At the end of which the Rotary President, Brian presented Barry with a cheque for £250, for equipment for the club.


TSKA Forum

I have added a forum to the website for members to discuss anything they like (within reason!) You will have to register in order to post on the forum, but it only takes a minute or two.
